Man in wheelchair 'stomped on, hit with bar' - Part 4

Barbarians through the gates
Andrew Bolt March 10, 2010
Not incidentally, this should make us reconsider how compatible some immigrants are with the Australian culture and economy, given the extraordinarily high rates of imprisonment of people from certain countries. Check the place of birth of our prisoners against the numbers here, and you’ll find that while 0.13% of all Australians are prisoners, the proportion in jail for Tongans is 0.74%, for Samoans is 0.64%, for Fijians is 0.26% and for New Zealanders 0.20% (and almost certainly higher for Maori, who compromise more than half New Zealand’s prison population).
Amen to that! One of his readers graphs the crime per country of birth:
In my opinion we should accept no migrants from countries that has a serious criminal incidence of more than 50% above the Australian level. The cost to the public in terms of victim costs, policing, justice and jailing means these groups fail the cost benefit test. Given that it is almost impossible to determine who will be a criminal we should have a blanket ban. Countries in this category are coloured dark red in the graph.

Immigrants ethnicity where the rate of serious criminality is more than 25% above the Australian born level should be subject to more detailed and thorough background checking. Countries in this group are coloured pink.

Countries in the gray zone i.e. within 10% of Australian norm should also have more detailed screening.
Angry Anderson - other cultures have introduced weapons
Daily Telegraph March 02, 2010
ROCK'N'ROLL bad boy Gary Angry Anderson believes life experience has taught him "Aussies use their fists" when they fight and that "weapons were introduced by other cultures".

The former Rose Tattoo frontman's comments before a Parliamentary inquiry in Canberra yesterday have experts describing his views as "pure fantasy" and ignoring "the realities of life".

Anderson, 63, was adamant he's not racist and said politically correct bureaucrats were getting in the way of progress when it comes to preventing youth violence.

"The racial thing, the cultural thing needs to be addressed because it's not going to go away," he told a Federal Parliamentary Committee into the impact of violence on youth.

"You never kick a bloke when he's down . . . you don't gang up on a bloke. These things are Australian and we shouldn't shy away from being Australian."

The father of four said he had taught his sons these principles and said "other cultures" had introduced weapons, including the Lebanese, Indochinese and Pacific Islanders.

"We have to acknowledge that they have a different view about how they deal with each other," he said.

"It's not untoward for them to turn up to a fight with a hatchet." ...

Outside Parliament, Anderson, who has worked with numerous youth charities, said he grew up in '80s Australia when "Aussie kids didn't use weapons".

"We've got to tell Lebanese kids and Indochinese kids that it might be all right where you come from but it's not all right here," he said.

Kiwi accused of raping woman on bus
stuff.co.nz 21/09/2009
A New Zealander allegedly raped a woman aboard a club's courtesy bus, then drove her home with the warning "I know where you live'', a Sydney court has been told.

Teina Toka, 57, from the suburb of Quakers Hill, faced Parramatta Bail Court yesterday charged with the sexual assault of a 29-year-old woman, Sydney's Daily Telegraph reported.

Toka was the driver of a courtesy bus for patrons of the Rooty Hill RSL, early on Saturday morning.

Police allege the woman was at the club on Friday night with her boyfriend of eight years, with the pair consuming a number of drinks before her partner left because he was tired.

The woman told police she stayed to play the poker machines.

Police documents stated that about 4am the woman heard the final call for the courtesy bus, which she had used a couple of times before.

The woman recognised the driver from previous rides and spoke up after noticing he was driving the wrong way, but "Toka stated that this was simply another route home".

The woman realised the bus was stopped in a dead-end street, before Toka went to the back of the bus, where police allege she was raped twice and bitten.

"Toka laughed at one point when (she) was yelling for help, saying: 'There's no one here'," the police documents alleged.

The court heard Toka then dropped the woman home, telling her: "Now you know, I know where you live," and asking, "So did you have a good time with me tonight?"

Prosecutor Val Short told the court the woman immediately reported the attack and police seized a number of items - including the woman's underpants and a button from her cardigan - from the courtesy bus.

Ms Short said police had concerns that Toka - originally from New Zealand - would flee the country if granted bail.
Until we learn to discriminate between compatible and incompatible immigrants, we will continue literally to be killed by the brain-dead Diversity Uber Alles cult (diversity over everything else). Today's politicians literally cannot discriminate to save their lives. They are making us martyrs for diversity.

What is the answer? Identity politics. The ability to discriminate between who is compatible and who is not. It's on the rise in Europe and we need it here in Australia too. Pauline Hanson was the beginning of identity politics in Australia, not the end of it. Bring it on.

If we can't embrace identity politics then we will follow America down the road of nonwhite violence against whites. Lawrence Auster:
... these terrible things are happening, they seem to be happening more and more frequently, and for our own safety and survival we need to know about it, instead of ignoring it and covering it up as the mainstream media with the compliance of whites have been doing for the last 40 years. Nonwhite violence against whites, whether the perpetrators explicitly express a racial motive or not, is not just a very bad thing in itself that has increased from virtually zero a half century ago to an unending, low-level intifida today. It is the ultimate concretization of white America's (and other Western peoples') abandonment of its leadership position in its own land, and of its inclusion of, embrace of, and surrender to nonwhite and non-Western peoples. It is where the rubber meets the road on the path to national suicide...

Man in wheelchair 'stomped on, hit with bar' - Part 2

Wheelchair bashing - second attacker's violent past
The Daily Telegraph March 12, 2010
THE second boy arrested for the brutal bashing of a wheelchair-bound tourist was on bail at the time of the attack and has a history of violence, a court heard.

The 15-year-old, from Merrylands West, appeared in Parramatta Court yesterday charged over the attack on disabled Canadian man Heath Proden...

The Department of Immigration is understood to be investigating revoking the boy's visa and sending him back to New Zealand as a result of Tuesday night's attack at Mt Druitt rail station.

The boy and his 16-year-old co-accused allegedly punched Mr Proden in the face, pulled him from his wheelchair and then, while he was cornered in a lift, stomped on his head, kicked and repeatedly hit him with an iron rod and pulled parts off his chair.

The attack, which police said was one of the most "sickening" they'd ever come across, lasted about five minutes.

Mr Proden had been waiting at the station about 11pm after going out to watch mates in the Canadian band Doc Walker perform at the Rooty Hill RSL...

Mr Proden's mother Shellan said she was stunned by the brutality of the attack. "I just want him home," Mrs Proden said.

"I can't believe a human being would do that to someone else."

Mother can't understand beating of son in wheelchair in Australia
The Canadian Press - Canada March 10, 2010
Shellan Proden couldn't bring herself to watch the grainy surveillance video of two young men who brutally attacked her son, forced him out of his wheelchair and pummelled him.

"I haven't watched that video and I don't think I will," Proden said Wednesday from her home in Winnipeg Beach ...

"I've been told ... that they'll have to go in and do some draining of the brain. But he's alert, he's talking and whatever," Proden said.
Canadian wheelchair user beaten in Australia
CBC News March 11, 2010
The incident "appears to be a random act" and police have not determined a motive, police spokeswoman Joanne Elliott told CBC News. She said she'd never heard of an assault like this one.

"And I know that very, very experienced police who have worked in Sydney's western suburbs for 20 years … were absolutely appalled by what happened."

But according to freelance reporter Tim Stackpool, many in the community — about an hour's drive west of Sydney's famed beaches — say this type of beating "was destined to happen."

"The crime rate there has been going up and up and up and up," Stackpool told CBC News. "The police have been doing their utmost to keep it under control, but this is a place in Sydney where perhaps there is not a lot for the youth of the streets to … do.

"It is a cheaper area to buy property in Sydney, and some young families and young couples are moving in there now. But of course, over many years, some undesirable elements have crept into that community and unfortunately, 11 o’clock at night on that railway station where the victim was is perhaps not the place to be."

Vicious Sydney bashing horrifies family
The Daily Telegraph March 11, 2010

THE Canadian family of the wheelchair-bound man allegedly bashed with a metal bar in an unprovoked attack at a Sydney railway station is stunned by its brutality.

Shellan Proden, the mother of the victim, was horrified to learn that two teens had allegedly hit her 35-year-old son with metal bars before running off with his wheelchair in the 11pm assault on Tuesday.

"I can't believe a human being would do that to someone else," Ms Proden said."It's like a savage." ...

The man's Australian girlfriend, Kristin Sharrock, is wracked with guilt.

"He's been through a lot in his life and he doesn't deserve what's happened," she told a Canadian TV network.

"I'm sick to my stomach. He came out here for me and he ended up in hospital. And to think that he could have died." ...
Man in wheelchair 'stomped on, hit with bar'
Daily Telegraph March 10, 2010
A MAN in a wheelchair has been punched in the face, stomped on and hit on the head with metal bars at a train station in Sydney's west.

The 35-year-old Canadian national was trying to leave Mt Druitt station when two males began verbally intimidating him last night, police say.

As he entered the lift, one of the attackers allegedly punched him in the face, causing him to fall onto the ground.

The pair then stomped on his body, tried to take his chair and belongings, and struck his head with metal bars.

They allegedly returned a number of times to attack the man again with the bars, but were eventually arrested by police after a foot chase.

A 17-year-old boy is currently assisting with inquiries at Mt Druitt police station.

A search is under way for a second male, described as being of Pacific Islander appearance and aged in his teens...
Fate turns ugly again for family that knows about pain
Sydney Morning Herald March 10, 2010
Police have arrested and charged two youths, aged 16 and 15, over the alleged assault, which occurred as the 35-year-old waited alone at Mount Druitt train station, about 11pm on Tuesday.

Mr Proden had just watched his friends play a gig at a nearby pub and was waiting for a train, when the two teens approached him and "verbally intimidated" him, police allege.

He tried to take a train station lift to escape the boys but one of them allegedly punched him in the face, knocking him out of his wheelchair.

What allegedly followed was described by Mount Druitt Local Area Commander Superintendent Wayne Cox as a "calculated assault" and "one of the most serious attacks I've seen".

The youths allegedly stomped on Mr Proden, hitting him on the head and body with metal bars - one from the wheelchair, police said.

They then tried to take his wheelchair and belongings, before leaving.

But the attack resumed again a short time later, the youths allegedly returning to continue bashing Mr Proden with the bars from his wheelchair.

Mr Proden, who lives in Mosman and is in Australia on a year-long working visa, was in a stable condition in Westmead Hospital today after undergoing surgery for severe cuts to his head and a depression to his skull.

His girlfriend Kristin Sharrock, said she was disgusted by the assault.

Hello

I don't intend to post regularly to this blog, probably just once in a blue moon when something grabs my attention. The wheelchair bashing caught my attention because it was particularly savage. But that's life in Australia these days: one wrong move at the wrong time and you wind up alone and vulnerable to predatory savages that we have imported into our country.
